Housed inside our historic Ybor City brewery, the Coppertail Tap Room & Kitchen is where good beer, scratch made food and a one of a kind Tampa atmosphere come together.
The space blends the building’s industrial past with plenty of Coppertail character, from exposed brick and steel to brewery views and details you probably won’t notice on your first visit. Grab a seat at the bar, settle in at a table or head outside to the patio.
Our kitchen makes just about everything from scratch, with house smoked meats, hand made sausages, sandwiches, shareables and plenty more built to go with a fresh pint. Behind the bar, you’ll find Coppertail beer brewed just steps away, along with Fallen Fruit Hard Cider and High Dive THC Seltzer.
Catching a game? We’ve got big screens throughout the Tap Room, including our massive projection screen for the big ones.
We’re just minutes from Downtown Tampa with plenty of free parking, so getting here is easy.

This Is Where the Beer Happens.
Behind the Tap Room sits the heart of Coppertail: our 34,000 square foot production brewery where we brew, ferment, package and send Coppertail beer out into the world.
At the center of it all is our five vessel brewhouse, backed by more than 1,000 barrels of fermentation capacity. From our flagship beers to seasonal releases and small batch experiments, it all starts right here in Ybor City.
Our Italian made CFT bottling line features 24 filling heads and, at full speed, can send around 80 to 90 bottles down the line every minute. It’s one of the many pieces of equipment that makes our brewery worth seeing beyond the Tap Room.

This Building Has Some Stories.
Coppertail may have opened its doors in 2014, but our building had already lived a few lives by the time we got here.
The property is roughly 100 years old and has been home to everything from a Hellmann’s mayonnaise factory and olive canning facility to a newspaper printing company and commercial refrigeration business. Over the decades, the building changed along with the neighborhood around it.
Today, the area housing our cooler and loading dock is the primary remaining section of the original structure, but pieces of the building’s past can still be found throughout the brewery.
The red steel beams supporting our second floor are original to the building. The footrest running along the Tap Room bar was made from old railroad track discovered while tearing up the concrete floors. Even some of the brick on our front patio was salvaged from an old roadway at the back of the property.
A century of Tampa history is still tucked into the walls, floors and details. You just have to know where to look.
