Position Summary:

Assist and supports brewery operations across all aspects of brewing and packaging processes. This includes but is not limited to fermentation management, beer transfers, packaging support, monitoring inventories, and general upkeep of the brewery. This job requires a high-energy individual comfortable with multitasking, attention to detail, and a focus on always creating true-to-brand products.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day brewery operations
• CIP of fermentors, bright tanks, and packaging equipment as needed
• Crash tanks, dry hop tanks, dump yeast, and transfer beer from fermenters to bright tank
• Monitor fermentations in conjunction with the QA lab
• Assist in creating treatment kegs
• Assist with canning, kegging and other packaging line operations
• Set up, operate, monitor, and clean packaging equipment
• Accurately package finished beer according to production schedule and brand standards
• Produce in-spec product at all times
• Perform tasks according to SOP
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use of PPE
• Clean parts and tools regularly
• Assist with maintenance and overall cleanliness of the entire brewery and packaging areas
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 1–2 years in a brewing or packaging environment is preferred
• Physically able to lift 44 lb + to shoulder height, as well as filled kegs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions without issue
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled spaces
• Ability to work in a team environment, and maintain high quality work standards when working alone
• Abide by proper SOP of every task and follow all safety protocols
• Encourage and maintain a positive attitude at all times
• Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
• If not forklift certified, learn to operate forklift
• Adapt to changes in brewing, packaging, and production schedules and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Ensure preventative maintenance procedures occur accurately and routinely
• Basic troubleshooting skills for a brewing/manufacturing environment
• Report, repair, adjust, and replace defective machine parts as needed
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook
